Tasting notes
A beautiful garnet rove with dark ruby highlights. A complex, explosive, jammy nose of strawberry, blackcurrant and red plum with hints of cedar, toast, vanilla and pepper. Round and satisfying on the palate with a dense, fleshy attack and a lovely finish.
Food pairing and serving temperature
Best enjoyed with a fine pâté, roasted rack of lamb, squid ink risotto or 24- or 36-month aged comté cheese.
Serve at 18°C
